He won his first Australian Open in 1953.
Martina Navratilova won Wimbledon 9 times between 1978 and 1990. She won a total of 18 Grand Slam Singles titles including 3 Australian Opens, 2 French Opens and 4 US Opens. She was also a gifted Doubles player winning 31 Slam Doubles titles.
